Terms of service
Last updated 3 November 2026
What heard is
heard offers friendly, non-judgemental listening and conversation by audio call, video call or in person. It is peer support from a caring listener — not therapy, counselling, medical or psychiatric care, and not a crisis service.
Nothing said in a session is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you have, or think you may have, a mental health condition, please seek help from a qualified professional.
Crisis and emergencies
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please contact Tele-MANAS on 14416, AASRA on +91 98204 66726, or call 112 in an emergency. A session may be paused or ended so that you can get the right help.
Professional and platonic
All sessions are friendly, platonic and strictly non-sexual. Any inappropriate request or conduct ends the session immediately, and no refund is given.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to book.
Rates & payment
Rates are shared on request and agreed before your booking is confirmed. A booking is confirmed only once payment is received in full by UPI.
For in-person meetups, food, drinks and any entry fees are paid separately and agreed in advance.
Cancellations & lateness
Cancellations or changes made at least 24 hours before the session receive a full refund or a new time. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are not refunded.
If you are late, the session still ends at the agreed time.
If I need to cancel, you’ll be offered a new time or a full refund.
Confidentiality & recordings
What you share stays confidential, except where someone’s life is in immediate danger. Sessions are never recorded by me, and you agree not to record calls, take screenshots or take photos without clear consent.
Meeting in person
Meetups take place only in public places in Mumbai, during the day or early evening. Sessions are attended sober.
I may decline or end any booking where I feel unsafe, where these terms are not respected, or where a session becomes abusive.
Responsibility
I take every care to provide a safe, supportive space. To the extent the law allows, heard is not responsible for decisions you make after a session, for indirect losses, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings during a meetup.
General
These terms may be updated from time to time; the version on this page applies to new bookings. They are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai have jurisdiction.
